"Military Padlocks"

This is fast becoming a favored area of collecting. Years ago when I started collecting military padlocks I thought that there might be some 100 locks to collect. Today there are over 800 known varieties, and new ones are still being discovered.  Mike Pitman ... April 2008.

Beginning in 1959 the pentagon mandated that all padlocks for all branches of the military be marked "US". This being said we are not able to correctly designate all locks marked with "US". You will notice that we have created a seperate category for these locks.

When the reverse of a case is not shown in a picture it is assumed to be blank unless otherwise noted.
